2026 ACTJRU Semi-Finals: 76 Teams Ready for a Huge Weekend of Junior Rugby
The 2026 ACT Junior Rugby Union Finals Series gets underway this Saturday, 22 August, with 76 teams contesting 38 semi-finals across Canberra and Queanbeyan.
Finals football will reach every corner of the ACTJRU community this weekend, with all 17 clubs and schools represented in the semi-finals, either under their own name or through a combined program.
From the U10 competitions through to the George Gregan Cup, teams will take the field across five venue hubs:
- Gowrie District Playing Fields
- Marist College
- St Edmunds College
- Daramalan College
- Campese Field at Taylor Park, Queanbeyan
After a competitive regular season, the top four teams in each competition have qualified for the semi-finals.
The U13 Boys competition will use a split finals format. The top four teams will contest the U13 Navy Finals, while the remaining four teams will contest the U13 Gold Finals.
Every match this weekend carries the opportunity to qualify for the ACTJRU Grand Finals at Viking Park on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September.

U13 Boys semi-finals
The U13 Boys finals have been divided into two competitions. The top four teams will contest the Navy Finals, while the bottom four teams will contest the Gold Finals.

Grand Final weekend
The 2026 ACTJRU Grand Finals will be played at Viking Park on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September.

Grand Final kick-off times are available through the ACTJRU fixtures pages and Rugby Xplorer. While times may be adjusted if required for operational reasons, the allocation of age groups to Saturday and Sunday will remain unchanged.
Any changes will be communicated to clubs as early as possible. Players and families should check the latest fixtures before travelling.
