ACT Junior Rugby Crowns Inaugural U18 Players of the Year
The ACT Junior Rugby Union is proud to announce the winners of the inaugural U18 Male and Female Player of the Year awards for 2026.
In a significant milestone for junior rugby in the region, the awards were presented for the first time as part of the ACT Senior Rugby Awards Night — reflecting the growing recognition of junior players within the broader rugby community.
The awards recognise outstanding performances across ACT Junior Rugby competitions and representative programs throughout the 2026 season.
2026 U18 Players of the Year
U18 Male Player of the Year — Aidan Wunsch (Daramalan College)
U18 Female Player of the Year — Terina Ngata (Tuggeranong Vikings)
Congratulations to Aidan and Terina on this well-deserved recognition. Both players have made exceptional contributions to rugby in the ACT throughout the season, and their achievements serve as an inspiration to junior players across the region.
